Mixed Thoughts

Did anyone else see the news blurb on the Today show about Mad Cow? The clip showed Dubya walking in a corral and then a random cow splattered in mud. The cow walked unsteadily on muddy ground and then fell over on its side with a thud. At first I thought couldn’t someone have edited that shot better because it was sad seeing that cow flop over on its side but also because it was unclear if the cow and Dubya were even in the same corral. Then I thought about it and wondered if the editor actually meant to juxtapose those two images as a metaphor.
