It’s a simple message and I’m leaving out the whistles and bells

The self-kicked ass is bruised but the first draft of the paper is done and now I can go cut my fingernails. Hey, I had to come up with some sort of motivation because the whole idea of motivation through brilliant (heh) scholarship just wasn’t moving me to write the paper.

But, slightly long fingernails (I like them short) clacking away on the keyboard made me get this paper done. It is one page shorter than the minimum number of pages required but I do not care. I figure if I’ve said everything I need to and if I’ve demonstrated critical thinking then a page short will just have to do.

The paper is for my Educational Evaluation class and like a crazy freak I decided to evaluate an organizational process instead of something simple like a training program. But, a girl must go with her strengths and I love to think about organizational things and given the fact that my organization just laid off about half of its employees gave me the perfect starting place. The professor liked my idea and said I had thought out my goals and objectives so well that she was pleased and looked forward to reading the paper. Of course she said this in an email on Thanksgiving so it is possible she was in a turkey coma at the time.

Excuse me, but I have a date with nail clippers and a beer.

Yeah for whatever motivated you! I don’t think I could remember how to write a paper anymore. Congrats on getting it done.
