I don’t like how Firefox poops its pants when I try to play a Quicktime movie. I don’t like how Firefox and XP don’t always play nice. For proof:
I switched back and forth between Firefox and a Properties window of an MP3 that’s housed on my desktop. Firefox pooped its pants and now I have the lovely Properties remnant left on my screen. I have attempted a refresh of the desktop and I’m afraid only a Restart will do. This has happened before so I know how to fix it. But, I don’t really know why it happens and why it only happens occasionally. The last time it happened it was with the message that appears if you right click on an item in your task bar.
On a completely other subject, we got this in the mail yesterday. We saw it years ago in the theater and it’s so bad that it’s great. While I was marveling over the DVD case, the better-half asked, “Think we’re the only ones on the street with a copy of this?” Yep.
All last evening I kept getting a Network Error while trying to comment here, and now I can’t remember what I was going to say! Probably something about never having any problems with Firefox.
That looks like a very interesting movie!
Sorry about the network error–the better-half switched offices and is in the process of moving things around and F&G has been having problems. Hopefully, though, we’re on the way to having everything A-OK again.
The movie goes perfectly with a glass of booze.
And here I thought it ironic that Firefox was giving me the Network Error! Hope you get it all sorted out.
What sort of booze do you recommend?
Booze:
I’ve really gotten into drinking Licor 43 Quarenta Y Tres. It’s vanilla and while the guy at the liquor store reminds the better-half that he could mix it with half and half and get something that resembles a dreamsicle, I mix it with club soda. I don’t like the whole idea of liquor and milk.
I also love vodka. The perfect drink and the one that I nearly always order out is a vodka tonic. I prefer to drink Skyy but have been known to go way up to the top shelf and sip Grey Goose straight.
The better-half loves Maker’s Mark and that’s the only bourbon we buy. I’ve also gotten into chambord lately which surprises me since it seems like such a sweet girly drink.
And, last but not least, sometimes I like to drink Kijafa over ice. It’s like eating a cherry.
I’m laughing because of all the liquors you mention, I recognize “vodka”. That’s it. Now if you had said gin and tonic, with a choice of Van Gogh or Bombay Sapphire, I’d be nodding right along with you.
Mostly my liquor choices range from Cabernet to Pinot Grigio. With an occasional Margarita thrown in. I think I need to broaden my horizons!
Seriously, if you are ever traveling up this way (it could happen, I hear people sometimes go to Pennsylvania), I’d love to treat you at our favorite restaurant. It would be a kick to meet you guys!
Gin and Tonic–not my cup of tea. Although I do like olives that have soaked in gin.
I’ll be sure to let you know if we head north. It would be fun. If you come south, let us know and we’ll break out welcome sign.
Sounds like it could be a plan…if we ever leave home and road trip it, that is. We get as far as Stafford County occasionaly. So it’s not impossible. It would be fun.
