Nine-Ten Inches of Snow

No phone line, cable was dead until about mid-day and the power is still out…the better-half went out to replenish our supply of gasoline for the generator and saw snapped power lines. Wonderful. Also, one road was blocked for some reason but he couldn’t tell exactly what was going on.

It’s going to be good and cold tonight and we don’t keep the generator running all night–too loud and obnoxious. Seems like there will be snuggling going on to keep warm–not a bad thing.

Around 11pm on 3/2 the power came back on–so nice to have consistent heat.

You got it worse than we did. As far as I know, no one lost power in our county. I think we got about 5 inches. Happy snuggling!

By the way, one of my favorite cat memories was our first night in this house. It was cold here and my yellow cat Ozzie (RIP) came looking for me in the middle of the night. I heard him crying and I called him, opened up my sleeping bag and he curled up next to me, purring like mad that he was finally warm. Hug Simon for me while you are snuggling.

TMI regarding the snuggling…. LOL. We just got power. It was a long night last night, but we have a gas fireplace.

By snuggling, I meant snuggling–get yer mind out the gutter!

Actually around 11 the power came back on.
