Sprinting Through a Broken Window

And so begins the quietness that public school spring break brings to my office. I’m here alone this morning and must admit that I’m loving it (not in an egg mcmuffin way). I’m listening to WOXY.com over my speakers instead of sending it through the headphones and I’m drinking coffee and cruising the internet. Yes, tax dollars and a lot of fundraising dollars well spent, I’d say.

Have you heard it’s spring? I heard that too but snow flurries are in the forecast for tonight. It feels like it could snow this morning except for the blinding sun. It is a beautiful morning out there, though–blue sky, bright sunshine and cold that sinks into your teeth because you are breathing with your mouth open as the pollen is knee-deep.

I’m going to wish everyone a Good Friday…even though I consider every Friday to be good.

Did you guys get snow last night? We got a dusting, and it’s flurrying now. My cherry blossoms have suffered.
