Loose Ends

As requested, here’s a picture of our garden. I had to get out there early this morning with PJs on and my bed head spike because soon there will be too much sun.

What you are seeing: Corn, squash, zucchini, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, peppers and our fence that’s keeping the critters out.

The final grading happened late Friday and yesterday. We’re now ready for concrete and the fence. The better-half and I have to get in today to scrub it and get the water in balance.

He’s a picture of calm this morning which is a far cry from yesterday morning when he was desperately trying to tell us he was thirsty.

And, I almost forgot. We found a bench.

I love the garden photo. Is it as hot and dry there as it is here?

    Cute fat cat too!

Where did you end up finding the bench? I have one of those wood/metal ones that you described and it is uncomfortable. It was a gift though and fit where I wanted it to.

Ooh, a vegetable garden! I love gardens, but every time I have ever done one, animals eat the vegetables. :-(

It’s about 90 today and pretty humid.

We ended up finding the bench at one of those unfinished furniture places. I just put teak oil on it and it was good to go.
