The water guy just finished pumping the third truckload of water into the pool.
The water guy predicts it will take another load of water to get us to the proper level.
Doesn’t this look like an oasis in the middle of a wasteland?
The good news is the pool guy thinks we’ll be swimming by next week. I’m sure he’s ready to be finished with our project. He told the better-half the other day he has 18 more pools lined up after ours. That’s a busy guy.
Oh my God that was fast!
Are you going to get some kind of sidewalk around it? That’s an awful lot of dirt to get in the pool.
It looks beautiful. Hopefully it will get hot next week.
It appears that most of the trees surrounding the pool yard are coniferous, so there won’t be so many issues with leaves like we have. I bet it’s going to attract every Frog in the hood!
You are right most of the trees are pine. The property used to be part of a tree farm. Happily there are some hardwoods thrown into the mix.
We’re getting a concrete patio around the pool and one day there will be some sort of ground cover in the rest of the yard. The dust and dirt is crazy right now.
I’m doing an experiment with thyme now. I’ll let you know how well it spreads. I’m looking for something that’s low like grass but doesn’t need mowing.
Thyme as groundcover? That’s brilliant. I’d like to know how that turns out. Practical and tasty.
