I have supported Martha Stewart’s magazine for years and I receive emails that I usually don’t read because I just finished reading about something similar in the magazine, but I let the emails go into my hotmail account without giving them much thought. Today I got one from one of her special partners: Buick. Honestly, that pissed me off. Like I’m being taken advantage of. Naturally the bot that processes her email (and her spam) doesn’t know that I said supportive things about Martha during her trial and incarceration and I never let my subscription lapse but that Buick ad really chapped my lips. I opted out of the special partner emails and am now mulling over blasting off an email to customer service.

I used to get Martha Stewart Living until somehow I ended up with two subscriptions…their mistake, and they got really nasty with me on the phone when I tried to settle the issue. I finally said screw it and didn’t pay for either of them.
I do love the magazine, though!
