Don’t push me cause I’m close to the edge

On the way into work today, I heard on the radio that a glass truck had spilled its contents on Interstate 95 right at the ramp where I get onto 95.

Sure enough traffic was at a standstill on the bridge. Even though I drive over that bridge every day, I don’t like the feeling of sitting there especially when a truck goes by and I can feel the bridge bouncing. I always get a picture of the Tacoma Narrows bridge in my head.

When I finally got to 95, there was, indeed, broken glass everywhere.

Those are some scary pictures. I’m not a fan of sitting on bridges either, but I get more freaked out by sitting under a highway bridge. I keep expecting things to come flying off the highway and landing on my car.

Then you must hate that new commercial for the Ford Whatsits where the mountain bike flies off the cliff right in front of the Ford Whatsits (sorry can’t keep straight which of their SUVs it is).

Can’t say as I’ve seen that one, but I am sure I wouldn’t like it at all.
