Saturday morning we’re babysitting the Niece. I’m not sure what we’re going to do. One of her favorite activities while at our house is to investigate our belongings–we do have lots of small, interesting items laying around. I’m hoping the weather will be nice enough that we can take a walk in the woods.
We’re also planning on having the MIL come over for dinner on Sunday. I have no idea what we’re going to have but it will be one of those simple, hearty kind of dinners. I do know there will be no gluten on the menu which is really not that hard to accomplish.
Valentine’s is just a few days away and I must confess I think it is a stupid holiday. Touching Hallmark Alert: I think V-Day is a stupid day because why should you have to schedule a day where you tell your sweetie how much you love your sweetie? Just do it all the time. End the touchy-feelie part of the entry.
My sister and I were discussing V-Day yesterday and she said she’s hoping for a card. I told her I knew I was getting a card since the better-half and I went to the card store on Saturday. I said we usually only give each other a card but occasionally I get a chocolate bar. She said a Slurpee would be nice. Then we laughed at how high dollar we both are.
I heard from my traveling sister today. They are back in FL after their trip to New Orleans. She said that on Monday she and her friend went over to the Cam so that the friend could call home and say hi to her son while she was on the cam. I cruised over to look at the archives to try to find their image. I had to give up because that’s a lot of images and I was ready to stick a fork in my eye after viewing several hours worth of footage. I did see several sets of knockers though.
