Salad

Here’s an update on the salad I made last night. Remember? I had figs to use.

I got some chevre and arugula from the store on the way home. I couldn’t find mache and I’m sure there are better manufacturers of chevre than what I could find but it matters not. The salad rocked. I smacked some whole almonds with the meat tenderizer hammer-thing and sprinkled those over the arugula. Then added the figs and cheese. We just used some italian dressing sparingly.

I wished I had made 6 more plates of salad and eaten those instead of the actual main course.
